Dr.Arpei-McHugh, a native of Saratoga Springs, NY, received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD) in 2007, with honors in pediatrics. She then completed a General Practice Residency Program in 2008 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady, NY. Prior to dental school, Dr.Arpei-McHugh received a Masters of Science in Clinical Health Management (MBA Health Program) at Union College in 2003. She also received a Bachelor of Science degree double majoring in Biochemistry and Studio Art in 2001 from Bates College, Lewiston, ME. Dr.Arpei-McHugh is also a 1997 Saratoga Springs Senior High School regents graduate, Class Salutatorian, and Yaddo Medal recipient.
Dr.Arpei-McHugh is North East Regional Board (NERB) Certified in general dentistry, a member in good standing with the ADA, NYSDA, local 4th District Dental Society, McClellan Implant Study Club, and volunteers teaching as an attending at the Ellis Hospital Dental Residency Program in Schenectady, NY. Dr. Arpei-McHugh also holds an active license to practice dentistry in NYS and PA, and is Invisalign I orthodontics certified.
Dr.Arpei-McHugh practiced in South Central Pennsylvania for several years, while her husband completed his medical training, and has returned home to the area and community that she loves, to establish her career and raise her family. She is focused on giving back to the community.
Dr.Arpei-McHugh has also practiced in the Albany, NY area while completing renovations to the brand new, state of the art dental facility, at One West Avenue, Suite 135, Saratoga Springs, NY.
Dr.Arpei-McHugh enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially pediatrics, and focuses on a general family dentistry practice to aim to make dentistry comfortable for all ages.
Dr.Arpei-McHugh resides in the Saratoga Springs area with her husband and three small children, two sons and a daughter. She enjoys the outdoors, painting, tennis, and the cello.
